| More Ramblings from the Head of Dancin Lukey |
| Well its been a busy week for ECW and
I have some more things I would like to address at this time
First up the good news Explosive Coastal Wrestling has purchased its very own Wrestling Ring! This means more regular shows for the fans for Perth unfortunately due to the high cost of the ring we are going to have to start charging entry to our events but if you saw Awakening or spoke to anybody that did you will realise that the events will be well worth the minimal fee! In fact I hate to sound like a bad late night infomercial but we have an awesome pack on sale in the merchandise section consisting of an official Explosive Coastal Wrestling shirt, A video copy of Awakening, a photo autographed my all the ECW wrestlers and 2 front row tickets for our next event all that for $60 (half the price of one ticket to WWA) thats pretty damn good anyway enough cheap plugs time to move on! Something that has been bothering me I would like to talk about Davis Storm and Xeriyous Blade! As we all witnessed at Awakening Davis and Blade cheated more times than Madonna during her last relationship. The officials struggled to get control and this cost a few individuals there chance at a victory at the event. I am not trying to say the officials didnt do well because Referees Matt and Simon did there best job to keep control for the day however without Head Official Paul "The Greek God" on the scene to lay down the law this left Davis and Blade open to basically run the show as it were. The good news is I have spoken to the Greek god recently (who has been absent due to illness) and his doctor has informed him he may be well enough to return as soon as the next event but what if he isnt? We cant afford to have Storm and Blade doing as they please again? Perhaps its time Explosive Coastal Wrestling instated a commissioner hmmm Commissioner Lukey I like the sound of that! On the topic of Blade and Storm they are strong believers in the old saying "strength in numbers" word is that they are looking for a new member to join their fold. With Davis being a technical expert and Blade being an impressive submissions wrestler I can only assume that they are after a strong man to help them with their dirty work, I can only assume that top of their recruit list would be either Azazal or Richter Not good news for the rest of the locker room if Storm and Blade could convince either of the two to join But then again could Richter and Azazal trust them enough to join forces? Speaking of Azazal we saw him at the last event throw out an open challenge to anyone in the back to take him on and then defeat Ling Swinger clean no less! I for one underestimated this guy! He has a very unique style and although I dont like his attitude I cant help but look forward to seeing him in action again soon. Speaking of Bad attitudes what is up with Justin Sane? Justin wrestled F.N. Carnage in the first match of Awakening and took myself and the entire crowd by shock! From the moment he stepped out the curtain on the entrance ramp to the very end of his match only one word can be used to describe Justin Sane Unpredictable! ECWs own F.N. Carnage was seen earlier this week working out at the gym with none other than the number one ranked tennis player in the world Lleyton Hewitt! could we be seeing Lleyton in Carnages corner at future events? If the answer is yes lets hope he brings fellow tennis star Martina Hingis along for the ride . Mmm Martina Hingis! Speaking of Carnage he told me he is training harder than ever and he is gunning for the ECW World title He told me that all his life his dream has been to be a world champion and he will not rest until he gets his hand on the gold. Carnage is a tough guy and I think that if anyone deserves the world title its F.N. Carnage. Another Explosive Coastal Wrestling star who thinks he is worthy of a world title shot is Mixer however a lot of wrestlers in the company disagree. Mixer described himself to me as one of the most talented, charismatic wrestlers around in fact in his own words he said "I am the kind of guy who was always picked first for every team in school, I hung out with the cool kids and I always got what he wanted In fact I still get everything I want" I dont mean to sound bitter but I hope some of the wrestlers in ECW beat some reality into him and some of that cocky attitude out. After lots of positive feedback about my Survivor Series hit and miss list last week I have decided to make it a regular feature in my commentary. This week I would like to tackle the November 26 2001 Raw . The episode was over-all quite entertaining It had high points and low points and a few very good matches here is in my opinion what the WWF did right and where they failed miserably: RAW 26/11/01 Hitlist: HITS: Christian vs Jeff Hardy Once again Christian puts in a five star performance! The match was solid and helped along nicely by another tease of a Hardy boy break up I am sure both Hardys will be pushed straight to world title status after that bust up! Winner and still European champion Christian. RVD vs Dvon RVD can do no wrong Every match of his he works his ass off and puts his body on the line I cant remember a single RVD match that I havent enjoyed this one was no exception! Winner and still hardcore champion RVD The Rocks great speech about Vince McMahons Homoerotic behaviour lately If there is something funnier than The Rock pretending to be vince having deer antlers forced up his anus I will believe it when I see it! Lance Storms great speech from WWF New York. I cant tell you how glad I am that The WWF hasnt gotten rid of this pure talent! Austin and Vince ass kissing Segment was great. Lots of laughts as provided by Stone Cold and his "Whats". Austin has found his form on the mike again in recent months and is cutting some of the best promos he has since 1997. If that wasnt good enough they capped it all off with a turn from the Taker. I dont care how smart a fan you are, Taker had you guessing until the end which was he would go! I just hope they dont waste his turn and make it all for nothing! MISSES: Women's title The Match Winner: Still Womens champion Trish Stratus Edge vs Test Two Great perfomers one pointless match! Christian ran in closely followed by Albert and Scottie too Hottie Pure and simple padding to make the show run to time. Winner by DQ Edge Big Show vs William Regal This match started because William Regal "accidentally" urinated on The Big Show (He has a nasty habbit of doing that to people) The match was pointless and was only worth mentioning for the return of Booker T who ran in to help Regal get a win over the Big Slow. Winner: William Regal The Rock & Kane vs Kurt Angle & Chris Jericho To cut a long story short Rock beat Jericho with a simple ddt
thus killing all
the momentum that Jericho has gained over the past few weeks
very disappointing
finish to a very average match. OVERALL GRADE FOR RAW B- Now I must say after last weeks commentary I received several angry e-mails in regards to my top 5 tag teams of all time.
