Dancin' Lukey's Royal Rumble 2002 Hit and Miss List
Well before I get started I would like to say that Royal Rumble is my favourite event of the year! It’s the only event that lives up to the hype and always delivers and is very entertaining… this year was no exception! So without any more delay let me get on with my opinions via my hit and miss list!

HITS:

WWF Tag Team Titles
Tazz & Spike vs. Dudley Boyz
My only complaint here is the match was WAY too short! I could have used some more action and definitely some more weapons in this match!
Winners and STILL WWF Tag Team Champions - Tazz & Spike

Street Fight
Ric Flair vs. Vince McMahon, Not as bad as I thought. Some decent spots and some great moments. Just please don’t make me sit through rematches!
Winner - Ric Flair via Figure 4 Leglock for win.

Undisputed Championship
Chris Jericho vs. The Rock, The match was very strong and Jericho didn’t choke on PPV again! Good to see Y2J get a victory over the peoples champ too… He needs the belt more than the Scorpion King.

ROYAL RUMBLE MATCH

Last four men were Mr. Perfect, Austin, HHH and Kurt Angle. Austin was eliminated by Angle. HHH eliminated Mr. Perfect and then Kurt Angle. This match was great and not just because I drew Triple H in the Royal Rumble Sweepstakes with my friends:) There were plenty of high spots and a few great returns… all in all another great Royal Rumble from the WWF.

My personal Highlights:

Maven Eliminating The Undertaker (blew the roof of my mates lounge room)

The Hardys reunion (yeah I know it was pretty lame but it got a cheap pop from me)

The Return or Val Venis… I love that crazy porn star

Vintage Austin looking at the watch and waiting for the next man!

Kane Eliminating The Big Show with a Body slam

Winner: Triple H

MISSES:

WWF Intercontinental Title
Edge vs. William Regal… What was this, their 10th match in two months? I think they have flogged this dead donkey enough. I am disappointed that Regal won and more disappointed that Edge sold the brass knucks so much… I think he is still unconscious!

WWF Women's Title
Trish Stratus vs. Jazz. Jazz is an exciting wrestler… Trish is an exciting Model… why did they have the model beat the wrestler?
Winner and STILL WWF Women's Champion - Trish Stratus

Title Match Low point: Rock Taking 2 people interfering and heaps of cheating including feet on the ropes just so he could be defeated… it wouldn’t kill him to give Y2J a clean victory.

Royal Rumble Match Lowlights:

Mr Perfect lasting longer than Austin

Kane getting eliminated Straight away

Big Show turning up.
