Another Dancin Lukey Top 10: Best WWF World Champions of all time!!
Well it was about time I did another top ten list. Seeing as I have done the best intercontinental champs, European champs, Hardcore Champs and Tag champs that leaves only one… The best WWF World Champion of all time… so lets get to the champs:

10. The Ultimate Warrior – One time champion, Now the Ultimate Warrior was a weird champ, He was someone you wanted to win the belt really badly but when he actually won it… the whole belt got boring and you started to notice that he only knew four moves, Still his intensity was higher than anybody else and I couldn’t help but mark out when he hit the ring.

9. Diesel – 1 time WWF champion. When Diesel won the WWF title he was still a rookie in the big leagues and a lot of people weren’t happy with him winning it… I was not one of those people. Diesel was great "In his time" his matches with Bret hart at Royal Rumble 1995 and Survivor Series 1995 were classic, don’t judge him by his weak ankle performances of 2002 the real Diesel was in his prime in 1995.

8. Mankind – Three time WWF champion. Every true wrestling fan shared a very special moment in history when Mick Foley won the world title for the first time. He was the man they said could never do it and would never make it, so the episode of Raw when he finally did will live on forever as one of my favourite moments in wrestling history. He Worked harder than anyone to get it and made the most of it when he finally was champ.

7. The Undertaker – Three time WWF champion. Now I am not talking Undertaker who’s too lazy to walk all the way down the ramp to the ring… I am talking Undertaker back in 1997. I have always been a big Undertaker fan and I felt that he was at his championship best when he stepped up to the plate and lifted the title from Psycho Sid at Wrestlemania 13, not his prime years but he saved the WWF title from the undeserving clutches of Sid and restored a little prestige to the title.

6. The Rock - Seven time WWF champion, Up until a week ago The Rock was the youngest champion of all time. The first time he won the belt was in a tournament at the Survivor Series Deadly Game. It wasn’t the most impressive victory but it paved the way for many impressive victories for the Peoples Champ.

5. Stone Cold Steve Austin - six times WWF champion. Stone Cold was someone that much like Mick Foley they said would never make it. When he finally did there was no doubt that he would do it again and again. He was a good champ and I will go on the record as saying one day he will be champ again.

4. Macho Man Randy Savage - Two times WWF champion, now Macho Man may not have held the belt 78 times like the Rock and Stone Cold… But when Macho Man held the belt it meant a lot more. The first time he won was in the Wrestlemania 4 tournament and it’s one of those video’s that I still like to hire out every few years just to see that one match over again… not because it was a great match between Savage and Ted Dibiase but just because it was a great moment when Savage was declared the champ.

3. Hulk Hogan – A six time champ that had 18 years between his first and most recent title reign. It shows that his charisma stood up to the test of time. Someone once said that Hulk Hogan had the perfect combination of charisma and intelligence that helped him be as great as he was in the eyes of the fans… I think this is correct because lets be honest he isn’t the most talented wrestler.

2. Shawn Michaels – Three time WWF champ now I know what you’re thinking… Why is this guy not number 1. Well whilst I feel Shawn Michaels is the best wrestler to ever hold the WWF title he wasn’t the best representative of the belt. When Shawn Michaels held the belt at Wrestlemania 12 it was a great moment in history. Over the next year his title defences were classic… Every match from Mankind to Vader was an awesome match. Lets hope that a return doesn’t destroy this guy’s legend status.

1. Bret Hart – Five time WWF champ Bret Hart was certainly the champ to look up to. When he first won the world title back in 1992 it was a great moment in the history of the belt… for the first time it wasn’t an older steroid freak holding the belt it was a young technically sound wrestler, someone who you could be proud of. I saw an interview with Bret a few weeks back and when someone asked how would you like to be remembered he simply replied "In ten years time I would like people watch wrestling and say… this guy is good but he is no Bret Hart" So do Bret a favour and don’t remember him as the post screw job whiner who complained about everything… remember him and the proud and talented champion he was.

I’m Dancin Lukey of course that’s just my opinion I could be wrong.
