Brad West may have the hardest task of the night as he attempts to survive against the Angry Uprising member, Azazal. Brad, who hasn't had a lot of luck here in ECW, has not been able to win a match and I don't see his impressive losing streak coming to an end in what could be the mismatch of the night.

Brock Freeman is taking on my ol' mate, Damien Kross which should be a great match. Damien will undoubtedly have the strength advantage while Freeman is sure to be showing off his martial arts background with a vast array of fancy kicks, cartwheels and handstands. After the beating Brock Freeman took at Hell or Highwater, I'm picking Damien to score the win in this one.

Psychofett vs Anda Nothica vs Richter in ECW's first ever triple threat match ... As a big fan of the triple threat, this is a match I can't wait to see. I expect Richter to destroy his 2 smaller opponents in this one. In Anda Nothica's case, much smaller. Interestingly, both Anda Nothica and Psychofett hold victories over Richter which is why I see the big man out for some serious Retribution.

Okay, for those keeping score, you've got the losers of these qualifiers going on to wrestle in the Battle Royal ... Brad West (if he can still walk), Brock Freeman, Psychofett and Anda Nothica. Which leaves another 6 wrestlers to be named to compete in the match. It should be interesting to see who the "mystery" wrestler turns out to be. Someone from ECW's wrestling past .. or present .. or even future ... Male or Female?. Guess we're going to have to wait till Saturday.

Davis Storm has to beat Justin Sane to keep his match with Jimmy Payne at ReAwakening a one on one encounter. Both these guys will pull out all the stops to win a match and their win/loss records prove just that. If Justin Sane can score the victory against Storm in this non-title match, he will go on to compete in a triple threat match with Storm and Payne where he won't even have to pin Storm to become the champion. I'm going with Justin for the upset against Storm as I think Davis will underestimate Justin's cunning and sly tactics.

Onto the grudge matches .... Brad West will not be the only person having trouble walking out of the Wanneroo Civic Centre Saturday Night as the Hardest Hitting Man in Explosive Coastal Wrestling will destroy The Vagrant in the very worst way possible. All the king's horses and all the king's men may have a lot of trouble putting the Homeless Hero back together again.

Mixer finally gets a chance to settle his differences with Jamie Jurah, however Jamie has something that Mixer does not ... A Win in ECW! While the trainer of Jamie Jurah is still a mystery, the hatred Mixer holds for Jamie is definitely not. Jamie Jurah has proved a lot in his short career in ECW and I see Mixer's temper getting the better of him and leading to his own downfall. I just wonder who the "bitch" will be when this one is all said and done.

Jimmy Payne vs Mikey at last. What started at Redemption will finally come to an end in a "Last Man Standing" match. One of the most brutal matches ever devised where in order to win the match, you must knock your opponent out for at least a count of 10. Will Mikey be able to do what some fans are calling "impossible"? You're damn right he can. Mikey hates everyone and everything, he even hates himself. He will do anything it takes, regardless of the consequences, not for the fans, not for pride, not for respect, not even to win the match but simply because Mikey hates Jimmy Payne.

If you're going to Retribution, I'll see you there. If you're thinking about going to Retribution you're a damn idiot! What in the hell is there to think about? And finally, if you're not going to Retribution you will miss out on the very best Perth Wrestling has to offer and what will undoubtedly be Explosive Coastal Wrestling at its finest!
