Slick Rick's Words of Wisdom : Re-Awakening and beyond!

Did ECW peak last Saturday night or merely set the standard of things to come? Only time will tell however I think that ECW proved to everyone just how far we've come in the space of only one year!

While Davis Storm and Jimmy Payne no doubt pulled out a magnificent match, it was FN Carnage who defeated two men to become to the new Invitational Champion Saturday night. FN Carnage was the wrestler of the night in my book and I'm looking forward to seeing him get a well-deserved shot at Jimmy Payne as soon as possible.

What was the name of the Flyboy interviewing fans ... Tyrone?

Trust the fans to vote big clumsly Richter as Most Improved Wrestler for 2002. The obvious choice was Jamie Jurah ... Richter better grow eyes in the back of his head after knocking Jamie's tooth clean out. I'm sure it's not the last you'll see of that confritation.

Damien Kross surprised everyone but me when he won the 4-Way elimation match, I told you this guy has talent way back in his debut at Evolution and last Saturday night he proved just that.

The Uprising are now in power and its got everyone wondering how this will change the course of ECW. I would like to congratulate our new Chairman, AzaZal for his victory over the people's tramp and wish the Uprising all the best for the future. Chairman AzaZal ... has a nice ring to it.

The Dynamite Dolls fit right into ECW shows very nicely... just ask Brock Freeman.

Brett Corvus probably made the biggest mistake of his life when he fast-counted Justin Sane to give Brad West a cheap victory on Saturday Night. Brett better be watching his back and his girlfriend.

Did Heavyweight Champ rock or what! I know Shiggins and Brad West thought so.

With a new Invitational Champion, a New ECW Champion, A New ECW Chairman, Referees taking matters into their own hands and a 6'4" monster kicking people's teeth out, I can only bring up the question once again, have ECW set a new standard for Perth Wrestling and where will the future take us from here? I can only assume that the question will be answered at "The Mark Has Been Made" in January next year.
