Slick Rick's Words of Wisdom

Now I know you've all been waiting a long time for some new words of wisdom but hey, what can I say? When you're as generous and as kind-hearted as Slick Rick, you get busy... busy making appearances at local hospitals helping out the sick kids, doing charity work with the elderly and donating what spare time I have left caring for the homeless. That stuff takes up a lot of time. Anyway, on with my words of wisdom...

A Mark was definitely Made on January 18th. A mark on Richter's face that is when Jamie Jurah broke a steel chair with his knee! As they say Richter, payback is a bitch!
Speaking of January 18th, I old you so! I told you all! I told you Jimmy Payne was getting a beating he'd never forget and that's exactly what happened! Jag and Havok are welcome back to ECW whenever they feel like it and I thank them for a job well done.

If ECW introduced tag titles, when and how would this happen?

On with the Uprising, the event that is... The King of Piledriver and 2002 Invitational Champion, FN Carnage finally gets a chance to do something I've been wanting to see for some time. Once and for all, Psychofett's ridiculous antics will finally come to an end because if he tries any "off white" crap in this match, they'll be scraping his overweight carcass off the ring after tasting a Piledriver or two!

Brad West survived his ordeal with the Uprising at the last event by dodging the marked chair of Mikey but how long before his name is finally erased like all the others?

The Playboy Devlin Reeves certainly impressed a lot of people at The Mark Has Been Made, most of them female who just couldn't get enough of the hottest piece of man candy in ECW. Although Devlin came up short in his match with Brock Freeman, and who wouldn't, I see a bright future ahead for The Playboy and wish him luck in his match against Brad West at The Uprising.

Will the Vagrant be at "The Uprising"?

Justin Sane's losing streak continues, no thanks to Brett Corvus who can't seem to keep out of Justin's business. Something has gotta give soon. These two guys simply hate each other but Simon Cage's ruling is still in effect, if Brett lays a hand on Justin, Brett gets suspended indefinitely.

The Uprising has definitely made a huge statement at this upcoming event. First of all the name of the event, "The Uprising" clearly showing the public who truly is in charge, the random booking of matches which I will get to in a minute, the release of their new t-shirt at The Uprising and finally, Uprising member Mikey gets the first shot at Jimmy Payne for the title. A weakened and beat-down Jimmy Payne I might add. So now it's simply a matter of 1, 2, 3 we have a new ECW Champion, Mikey and it will be FN Carnage who then gets the first shot at Mikey. An agreement made with Chairman AzaZal and yours truly for bringing over Jag and Havok.

The Uprising's Lethal Lottery Tag Match is intriguing to say the least. Apparently The Uprising will be drawing names out of a hat on the night. Does this mean all ECW wrestlers go into this draw or just the ones who don't have matches? The possibilities are endless...

Then you've got The Uprising involved in their own tag match against Brock Freeman and a partner of The Uprising's choosing. I wonder if Davis Storm will step up to help out Brock as he helped out Payne at The Mark has Been Made?

Speaking of Davis Storm, Damien Kross certainly made an impact when he delivered the Krossfire onto Storm at The Mark Has Been Made! That came out of nowhere and surprised the hell out of me! I look forward to seeing Damien go head to head with Storm real soon.

I heard a rumour, Dancin' Lukey has a new suit but hey, that's just a rumour.

Last but not least, well maybe least ... In a recent conversation I had with Chairman AzaZal, he mentioned a match that will guarantee some lucky trainee from the ECW Dynamite Factory an ECW contract! While the details of who will compete in this match are not confirmed, expect to see at least three trainees fight it out at "The Uprising" with the winner receiving his own ECW contract. Should be a great fight!
