Jimmy Payne vs Chris Lazareth

The #1 contender F.N. Carnage joined his manager, Slick Rick, at ringside to provide commentary for the match. Rick announced that F.N. Carnage was refusing to wrestle any more matches that weren’t title matches.

Lazareth did not endear himself to the Wanneroo crowd by entering the ring wearing a PERTH SUCKS shirt. He jumped the champion from the opening bell but could not maintain an advantage for very long. The champion never seemed to be in trouble for the majority of the bout but Lazareth managed to impress by putting forth a stronger than expected performance.

However, he was clearly fighting an uphill battle and when he went for a second rope axhandle he was gored right out of his boot, and right out of the match. The 3 count was merely academic. Payne invited Carnage into the ring but ‘The King of the Piledriver’ did not accept the offer.
