After much waiting and anticipation we finally have some announcements regarding Evolution. First of all we will address the way that the event will be structured. Night one of the event will see the first round of the tag team tournament take place. Eight teams will square off for the right to go on to the semi final stage of the tournament.

The second night will see the semi finals and the final of the tournament take place. Both nights will also see singles action taking place between ECW wrestlers who are no longer in the tournament.

The ECW chairman, Azazal has passed on several announcements to us. One is regarding a non-tournament match on the second night. Three ECW wrestlers will face off in a unique round robin challenge. The challenge will see all three wrestlers face each other in back to back singles matches. The one who gains the most decisions wins. If the wrestlers finish on equal amounts of wins and losses, they will face off in a sudden death 3 way dance.

Now back to the showpiece of the event, the Title tournament. Azazal has asked us to announce two of the teams for the tournament. The first team has already been announced on the ECW message board by Slick Rick Sanders. That team consists of Jamie Jurah and F.N. Carnage, the Brat Pack. This team should be quite a force to contend with and will no doubt be one of the favourites to go on to the finals.

The Uprising have also entered a team in the tournament but have not announced which 2 wrestlers will represent them at the event. It has been speculated that they will not make that announcement until the day. This will provide them with a distinct advantage as their opponents will not know who to prepare for.
