| Hell or Highwater - Davis Storm vs FN Carnage Then came the ECW Title match between FN Carnage and Davis Storm. The two couldnt wait to get their hands on each other as Carnage met Storm in the aisle and they brawled their way into the ring. The match got off to a flying start as Carnage pounded Storm with a powerbomb. The match quickly found its way out of the ring again as Storm hit Carnage with a top rope clothesline to the floor. They brawled through the crowd with Carnage reassuming control as the battle continued in the ring. Carnage applied a dragon clutch on Storm that had the champ tapping out but his feet were under the ropes. Carnages frustration started to show as he could not put Storm away. Referee Brett Corvus was inadvertently taken out by Storm and Carnage which left the Vagrant to referee the match. The end came when Carnage reversed an Eye of the Storm but only received a two count. After verbally abusing the Vagrant, Carnage left the ring and returned with a chair. The Vagrant stopped Carnage from hitting Storm with the chair and the distraction provided Storm with the opportunity to springboard dropkick the chair into Carnages face for the win. Carnage then snapped and hit The Vagrant with the chair. Slick Rick entered the ring and he and Carnage shook hands before they hit the Vagrant with a spike piledriver. Concerned ECW wrestlers and officials ran to the ring to protect the fallen Vagrant. Carnage continued his assault on the Vagrant until Jimmy Payne got in his face. Slick Rick then proceeded to verbally attack Payne until Storm returned to the ring and stood with Jimmy. Rick then convinced Carnage to leave. Storm then took the opportunity to challenge Payne to a Title match at Re-Awakening on November 2nd 2002. Payne accepted so the stage is set for both Retribution and ReAwakening. The only question now is What do Slick Rick and FN Carnage hold in store for ECW? |
