Simon Cage was at ringside for this bout to keep an eye on referee Brett Corvus, who has had many problems with Justin Sane. Corvus is under probation, where if he lays a hand on any wrestler he will be immediately suspended.

Richter showed that size does matter by physically dominating Sane in the early going. He bounced his opponent all over the ring until a low blow brought the big man to his knees. Attempts by Sane to wear down Richter’s arm failed and the 6 foot 4 giant went for a chokeslam. However, Justin reversed it into a Fatal Attraction (reverse Russian leg sweep).

Richter fought back with a huge powerbomb that had Justin struggling for air. He worked on Justin’s back until a momentary lapse in concentration allowed Sane to hit a rolling headscissors. He then took control and hit many of his signature moves in search for his first win since June last year. A gordbuster and X-factor both failed to put the big man away. Eventually, Richter managed to fight back and his X-plex nearly put Sane away. His tombstone piledriver attempt was met with another shot to the testicles and Justin hit his finisher, the Rhypnol Spike (reverse tombstone). Brett Corvus almost counted to three before noticing that Richter’s foot was under the rope.

Sane was livid when he realized that he had not won the match and started to slap Corvus around. He picked up the referee for a Rhypnol Spike but Richter had recovered and kicked Justin in the stomach. Justin charged Brett but he missed and Richter caught him with a huge chokeslam backbreaker for the win.

After the match, Jamie Jurah ran in and attempted to hit Richter with a chair but was stopped in his tracks as a giant hand reached out and grabbed him by the throat. However, before he could deal with Jamie Richter spotted Jag and Havok on their way to the ring. He tried to defend himself but could not beat the two on one odds and jag clotheslined him out of his boots. Havok then hit a backdrop driver and they set him up for Jurah. Jag held a chair as Jamie kneed it into Richter’s face so hard that the chair broke.
