A rematch of sorts from Re-Awakening as both men were pitted against each other in the 4 way match. Kross landed a cheap shot at the opening lock up to take the early advantage. Both men used chain wrestling to try and get the better of their opponent but it wasn’t until a Kross back elbow that the match slowed to a more deliberate pace. Kross’ plan was revealed as he went to work on Psychofett’s hamstrings in preparation for a sharpshooter submission. When he finally did get the hold on, Psychofett managed to work his way to the ropes and tried to fight his way back into the match. When he attempted his ‘Mother of Pearl’ palm strike combo, Damien stunned him with a Soul Splitter (diamond cutter). But Psychofett would not lie down. He managed to nail Kross with a knee to the upper thigh in an attempt to knot his foe’s legs up. Then he nailed Damien with the biggest huracanrana that ECW has ever seen (Yes, you read right……Psychofett hit a huracanrana!!) A harsh palm strike had Psychofett primed to finish the match with his burning hammer. In the blink of an eye, Kross reversed the move and put Psychofett down with a Krossfire for another victory. |
