The pre-show opened with the year end awards. Dancin Lukey and Slick Rick Sanders presented the awards that were voted on by the fans of ECW. The results were as follows:

Davis Storm

After receiving his award, Storm was then asked by Slick Rick to address the Uprising situation. Davis asked the leader of the Uprising, Xeriyous Blade, to come out to the ring. Blade complied and Davis informed him that he would not join the Uprising. He insisted that it was not a way to disrespect Blade and that they should just stay out of each others way. Blade agreed and the two parted on good terms.
