Dancin' Lukey: Well, firstly we must welcome everyone to our very first official press meeting and can assure you that this is just the beginning of the Explosive Coastal Wrestling's close relationship with the wider Perth media. So let's get this underway...

Dancin' Lukey: Alot has happened since we last met, at Explosive Coastal Wrestling's first event Awakening. In that time, ECW has made dramatic steps forward, and in short, we have secured the purchase of a ring to use on a full time basis, we have developed a strong relationship with another wrestling federation in Australia, and have ironed out many details pertaining to the next Explosive Coastal Wrestling event - Redemption.

But first some introductions. We would like to thank them for their time here today... the winner of the very first ECW Invitational Tournament - Jimmy Payne. The unrivalled king of hardcore in ECW - The Vagrant... The man with the biggest hair in Australian wrestling - Af Pak... ECW's own version of the 'Human Suplex Machine' - F.N. Carnage and the man who is going to join me at the Explosive Coastal Wrestling commentators table from now on - Ladies and Gentleman... 'Slick' Rick Sanders...

Now, we have some official details on the next ECW event.. and some very big news it is indeed. Explosive Coastal Wrestling's 'Redemption' will once again be a showcase of Perth wrestling's finest young talent as we make the entire Australian wrestling industry sit up and take notice. Following on the heels of the November 4 spectacle 'Awakening', the second ECW event will take place on the 27th of January 2002. Unfortunately, we are yet to announce an official venue due to circumstances beyond our control, but rest assured, 'Redemption' is coming. It could have been one of the proudest days in Explosive Coastal Wrestling as just a few short weeks ago, we inked the purchase of our coveted wrestling ring. As some may know, Kevin Junior at WA Muay Tai allowed us to hire his extremely expensive kick-boxing ring for Awakening but we felt a great need to purchase our own equipment for our next event. So, several thousands of dollars later, Explosive Coastal Wrestling are now the proud owners of a kick-boxing ring. Several alterations need to be made to our ring to make it suitable to wrestle in, but our dedicated roster have voiced their desire to wrestle in it as soon as possible. Either way, come 'Redemption', having a sprung-floor or not, we will be wrestling in our very own ring.

Now, down to the real news scoop... the card for ECW's 'Redemption'... And at this early stage, only a couple of matches have been signed by the ECW administration. The second ever Explosive Coastal Wrestling event will see the most politically incorrect wrestler on our roster, Justin Sane, taking on the gothic high-flyer, Anda Nothica.

The mentally unstable Psychofett will be looking to avenge his performance at Awakening by wrestling up and comer, the extremely athletic Mixer.

At this event Redemption, we will also see the announcement and promotion of Explosive Coastal Wrestling's new Commissioner. Who will it be? Find out on January 27th.

And the main event, the big announcement as far as this press conference goes... The winner of this match will be named the number one contender for the Explosive Coastal Wrestling Heavyweight Title currently held by Davis Storm. This match will be an elimination style, three way dance, with three men starting out the match, and will fight until one man is declared the victor. The three men competing in this three way dance will be... and wait for it folks...

And he is here today, Explosive Coastal Wrestling's own 'Human Suplex Machine'... F'N' Carnage. The second competitor will be the self proclaimed 'new sensation of innovation'... fans, I am talking about Mikey Whiplash... and the third and final member of this Main Event should be no secret to any of us. He was the winner of the inaugural ECW Invitational Tournament... He is Jimmy Payne!

And I know this announcement has set our fans abuzz, but there are still alot of questions left to be answered. What part will the other members of the ECW roster play in Redemption. Who will be debuting at this massive event and what will the injured Heavyweight Champion Davis Storm's influence have on the January 27th spectacular.
