A lot has happened since ECW stripped Davis Storm of the ECW Title in early December. At that time, it was announced that a three way dance would be held to decide the new champion at Redemption.

As most of you know, Davis Storm was less than pleased with this situation. He first threatened to walk out of the federation but this failed to change the minds of the Explosive Coastal Wrestling officials. They informed Davis that they would not be bullied into changing the main event of Redemption.

However, since then, ECW have received a letter from Davis Storm’s attorneys which states that ECW had overlooked a clause in Storm’s contract. The clause states that should Storm lose, or be stripped of the title that he could order a title shot at his own discretion.

So in order to avoid legal action ECW officials have agreed to a Fatal Four Way for the ECW Title at Redemption with Davis Storm added to the match. The match now also has an added twist. The match will be fought under special rules. The bout will start with two wrestlers battling for the title. After five minutes another of the wrestlers will enter the match and the last competitor will enter after ten minutes. Unlike many matches it may not be an advantage to be the last entrant as the match may be over before they even get into the ring. This is sure to make this match a must see.
