ECWPerth.com talks to the Vagrant - Post Hell or Highwater
ECWPerth.com: We want to thank you for talking to time out to chat to us, the People's Tramp, the ECW Chairman, the Vagrant.

Vagrant: No problemo mate.

ECWPerth.com Firstly Vagrant, how is the neck? We saw you brutalised at the hands of your former friend F.N. Carnage and Slick Rick Sanders at Hell or High Water... are you doing okay?

Vagrant: Yeah... the injury is alot better now. At the time, it was serious and it felt bad. When I hit the mat, I felt something was wrong. I got worked on backstage after the show and with the help of Dr J.S.Y. Chong, I am slowly getting back into a training regime.

ECWPerth.com: Now... that chairshot. It was loud and it looked painful!

Vagrant: The most painful part of the shot was the fact that F.N. Carnage was on the other end of the chair. I have kept the chair and I look at the dent my head left in it. Hate burns inside of me when I see it.

ECWPerth.com: It's an obvious question, but how do you feel about Carnage and his sudden alliance with Slick Rick Sanders?

Vagrant: To be honest, I am disgusted. It makes me feel sick in my stomach. I don't really remember much after the chairshot, but I do remember one thing that will stick out in my mind for a long long time. I was laying flat on the mat, looking up at the lights and all I saw was Carnage and Sanders shaking hands right over me. Like I said... F.N. Carnage and Slick Rick Sanders make me sick!

ECWPerth.com: The next event, Retribution on September 14th is appropriately named... will the Vagrant get his revenge?

Vagrant: You know, for the first time since I have been with Explosive Coastal Wrestling it's not about what he fans want. It's about what I want this time. I want to hurt F.N. Carnage... and I think the fans want to see me hurt him. He swung that chair at Hell or Highwater and he turned his back on everything and everyone who has supported him. When he piledrove me, he gave up his friends in ECW, he gave up his position at the head of the 'Dynamite Factory' and he gave up the right to represent Explosive Coastal Wrestling. Retribution for me will not be about anything other than getting revenge on Carnage. The handshake they made above me burns into my mind every time I remember it.

ECWPerth.com: What if you are not physically ready to fight on September 14th?

Vagrant: I would sacrifice my health to take the health of F.N. Carnage.

ECWPerth.com: Wow... truly a different side of the Vagrant showing here... Onto a different subject, as the spokesman for ECW, how has the office reacted to the various threats from the Uprising to almost 'take over' our federation?

Vagrant: Ever since the creation of the Uprising, they have told anyone who will listen that they want to control ECW. And I will admit, they took one big step closer to that position when they added Mikey to their ranks, but the fact still remains, the ECW Chairman has the controlling vote on the ECW board. And I am sure Uprising leader Xeriyous Blade remembers losing his chance to be the ECW Chairman at Redemption when I beat him. The Uprising can make all of the claims they want, the fact of the matter is that unless it's Chairman Xeriyous Blade, which it surely isn't, their trash talking isn't being taken too seriously from the Explosive Coastal Wrestling office.

ECWPerth.com: Following his actions at Hell or High Water, has the Explosive Coastal Wrestling office accepted Davis Storm as their Champion?

Vagrant: I thought I knew Carnage well.. turns out I hardly knew him at all. I also thought I knew Davis Storm... it also appears I didn't. I have watched the tape of Hell or High water over and over again. I watch the chairshot. I watch the piledriver. And I see Davis Storm return to ringside to help me. That means alot to me. He didn't have to come back through the curtain. But he did and I thank him for that... And when he was challenged, he took a stand. A stand next to Jimmy Payne. Not opposite him, against him, he took a stand beside Jimmy Payne. We saw the Explosive Coastal Wrestling champion stand beside the number one contender in a display of
unity and of respect. ECW is about respect and Davis Storm proved that.

ECWPerth.com: Can you confirm any matches for the next event, ECW Retribution on September 14th?

Vagrant: You need to check out the website for any confirmed matches. What I can tell you is that Retribution will see the end of a lot of rivalries between several ECW members built up over the past few months, but it will no doubt be the start of even more brutal competition between the roster. One match I can confirm, as you would probably guess is the 'Last Man Standing' match between Mikey and Jimmy Payne.

ECWPerth.com: The 'last man standing' stipulation has a few fans baffled.. can you clear it up?

Vagrant: Basically, the winner of the match will be the last man who can walk away from the ring. The two guys can do whatever is in their power to destroy the other. I can honestly see this match being far more brutal than any TLC or Street Fights ECW has seen previously. I've seen Jimmy Payne working out lately and he is far more determined than I have ever seen him. He hates Mikey and Mikey hates him. That's a recipe for disaster... only one of the men will make away... it's a scary thought...

ECWPerth.com: It sure is... now Vagrant, can you tell us what your favourite all time ECW moment is?

Vagrant: Ummmm.. I'm sorry... I don't feel very candid at the moment. I'll do another one of these with you later on. Thanks for the chance anyhow....

ECWPerth.com: Okay, we'll try and sit down with you at a later date. Thank you.
