ECW News & Romours
The Vagrant accepts the Challenge
January 27th, 2002. It's a date that has been etched in the mind of every single person involved in Explosive Coastal Wrestling. For one reason or another, it's infamous and the acts that transpired on that night changed ECW forever. That night saw the birth of the Uprising, but it also saw ECW rise and defeat the vicious group. Since that day, Explosive Coastal Wrestling has been under attack, but we have been steadfast in our defence, thanks in part to the efforts of Brock Freeman, Anda Nothica, Shiggins and Jimmy Payne. As the ECW Chairman, I have watched on as the Uprising have clawed their way closer and closer to controlling Perth wrestling. And now they will have that chance.

Azazal stood in the ring at Retribution and challenged me to a match at Re-Awakening. A match which has the ramifications to change ECW forever, either for good or bad. The stipulations were put in place within Azazal's challenge. If he wins, the Uprising will gain control of Explosive Coastal Wrestling. If I win, the Uprising will be gone forever.

Since that time, I have been thinking long and hard about that match and consider this my reply...

I have met with alot of people, seeking their opinion on whether I should take this gamble. Dancin Lukey, Brock Freeman, Jimmy Payne... even the kids at the Dynamite Factory. At Re-Awakening, I have chance to destroy the Uprising once and for all, and for the sake of ECW, that is a chance I cannot pass by. As the Chairman of Explosive Coastal Wrestling, I am hereby adding this match to Re-Awakening.

The 'Fallen Angel' versus the 'People's Tramp'. Azazal versus Vagrant. The Uprising versus ECW. For control.
