ECWPerth.com chats with the Vagrant
The VagrantIn what was one of the single most crucial moments in Explosive Coastal Wrestling's history, The Vagrant lay broken on a harsh bed of crumpled chairs in the centre of the ring. Azazal had his leg hooked and referee Brett Corvus' hand hit the mat for the third time. The Uprising had gained control of Explosive Coastal Wrestling. It was indeed a war. A war between Azazal and the Vagrant. Between ECW and the Uprising. Between good and evil. Now, evil reigns in ECW.

We had planned to have Dancin Lukey, one on one with the Vagrant, but as you will no doubt read later in this piece, the Vagrant is not doing a lot of talking just yet. The People's Tramp suffered an almighty beating at the hands of the Uprising, a beating which shattered his jaw and will put him out of wrestling for several months. However, he says the worst pain of all was relinquishing control of ECW to Azazal.

ECWPerth.com: Well Vagrant... thanks for granting us this time... I guess we also need to thank the person who has allowed you to use this computer.

Vagrant: No problem. Glad to talk to you.

ECWPerth.com: Firstly, we saw you beaten ruthlessly at the hands of the Uprising, both during and then after your match at Re-Awakening. What injuries did you sustain and when can we expect you back in the ring?

Vagrant: In short, I have some lacerations on the inside of my mouth, a fractured right side of my jaw bone and a clean break in the left. In terms of a return to the ring, my doctor is doubtful that it will be any time soon, which is a bit depressing for me.

ECWPerth.com: You're obviously sitting there in great pain right now, and have been for some days... Is it fuelling your return and no doubt revenge on the Uprising?

Vagrant: I don't know what I am thinking right now... I'm hurting, and that is never a good thing, but it's expected of a wrestler. I hate the Uprising... I always have, I no doubt always will... What they did to me after the match, and even during it, should never have happened... but now they are in control of Explosive Coastal Wrestling... and I really feel that things that we thought would never happen, now will with these three guys calling the shots...

ECWPerth.com: What do you predict to happen now that the Uprising is ruling ECW?

Vagrant: I don't think you can predict what's going to happen because the guys at the helm are so unpredictable.. and I hate every single one of them. Xeriyous Blade is a coward. Azazal is a monster and Mikey should die. You know what... I remember when Mikey came back, he stood over a fallen Jimmy Payne and he told the world that Mikey Whiplash died on the floor at Redemption. Thats crap! Mikey died when he sold his soul to the Uprising at Collision Course.

ECWPerth.com: Even though you are not the ECW Chairman now, I think the roster will still listen to what you have to say to them. Do you have any advice to the guys?

Vagrant: Fight! Fight the Uprising... hurt them... destroy them! The duty lies in a few, but the responsibility belongs to all of you. Stand together and don't stop fighting. There is a lot of unsung heroes in that locker room and it's going to take these guys to stand up and even the battle. Guys like Mixer, Anda Nothica, Brad West, Shiggins... it's these guys who will be the ones to destroy the Uprising...

ECWPerth.com: You think something can defeat the Uprising now that they have control?

Vagrant: ECW can beat the Uprising. I have no doubt in my mind... but it's going to have to take a concentrated effort from everyone in that locker room to unite as one. Forget petty past fueds and disagreements and pull together so it truely becomes ECW versus the Uprising.

ECWPerth.com: When the Vagrant finally makes his return to wrestling... what is he going to do?

Vagrant: I'm worrying about getting healthy just at the moment... I'm not setting a date to return on anything like that because my jaw is going to heal week to week. I could spend a few months on the sideline, and then take a stiff shot to the jaw, and be back here at square one... Sitting here doing nothing, not wrestling, watching the Uprising take control is more painful then anything I have ever experienced. So I'm not going to take a chance that could end up making me spend more time out of the ring than now.

ECWPerth.com: Vagrant... thanks for your thoughts and I can speak for everyone out there when I hope that your recovery is short and successful and we see you back in Explosive Coastal Wrestling as soon as possible.

Vagrant: Thanks... and thanks to everyone for the emails and best wishes they have sent, it means alot.
