We were also a little worried that Jimmy had not responded to the challenge yet. Normally Jimmy is very up front about his intentions. So we contacted the champ and asked him clarify his stance on Jag and Havok’s arrival. Here is his response.

"The past few year has been an interesting time for me professionally. I won the ECW Invitational Tournament. My match with Mikey was voted Match of the Year. And, finally I won the ECW Title at Re-Awakening.

It has been an amazing year. Until recently, very few people knew that on our trip to Adelaide in April, I had the chance to face The Master of Mayhem Havok in a one on one match at the MPW event Interstate Warfare.

Anyone who knows anything about Australian wrestling, knows that Jag and Havok are phenomenal wrestlers. I consider them to be the best around. So to wrestle Havok was a great honor and despite my loss to him I felt that I had gained his respect in the ring. We talked after the match and he wished me the best of luck in my future and told me that he hoped we would one day have the chance to wrestle again. And I too hoped that chance would come again.

So, I was as shocked as anyone to see that the two of them were now threatening my career. I had a great deal of respect for them both but after they sold themselves out to Slick Rick, I can safely say that my respect is long gone.
