Davis Storm rang us today and told us that he would like to comment on the situation. This is what he had to say.

"Like Jimmy Payne, I was interested to find out that Jag and Havok would be traveling to Perth to participate at The Mark Has Been Made. I was even more interested to see their reason for coming. To help try and end the title reign of Jimmy.

I remember being backstage at the Golden Grove in Adelaide after the Interstate Warfare event. Jimmy and I were both bruised and battered after our respective battles that night with Jag and Havok. When they entered our dressing room I thought that they were ready to continue the fight. However, they had nothing but kind words for us and I felt that we had earned their respect that night.

In other words, I thought that we would be able to count on these two if we ever needed the help.

GOD was I wrong. Plain and simple, I feel like they have sold themselves out for the money being offered to them by Slick Rick. They have become bounty hunters and Jimmy Payne’s career is the target.

Firstly, I would like to explain something to our chairman Azazal. I want you to go ask your boss, Xeriyous Blade, about respect. He and I have a great repesct for each other and that is why we backed each other up 100% when we got to ECW. No matter how bad a situation we got ourselves into we saw things through because of that respect.

Well over the past 12 months, Jimmy Payne has earned my respect. We have battled three times and after each match, my respect grew deeper. At the Way of the Warriors we battled side by side to defeat F.N. Carnage and Damien Kross. After that match I told Jimmy that if he ever needed a partner again, he need look no further than Davis Storm.

So who is stupid enough to team with Jimmy Payne against Jag and Havok? Well that would be me Mr Chairman. Beside I figure that after I stopped you from killing The Vagrant at Re-Awakening, I’m on your hit list anyway. You can’t intimidate me Azazal so stop trying.

So let me sound out a clear notice to Jag and Havok. I don’t take kindly to people knocking on our doorstep and making threats about ending careers. On January 18th, we won’t be in Adeliade anymore. You’re going to have to deal with The Payne Army and The Storm Troopers, who will make your ‘fierce’ Adeliade fans seem like quiet day at the libarary. You’ll be in the Wanneroo Civic Centre with Jimmy Payne and Davis Storm. We aren’t two underdone rookies anymore and you’re going to find that out first hand at The Mark Has Been Made."

Well that was quite a statement from the former ECW champion. The event is shaping up to be the most explosive in ECW’s history and the main event ‘Slick Rick Challenge’ will no doubt be an epic event of its own.
